Assignment Brief:

This is an individual assignment designed to provide opportunity for independent research into sustainable construction/sustainability. The coursework submission is preceded by an oral presentation as indicated in the Module Calendar.

1. Choose one environmental medium and critically evaluate how environmental management tools can help to reduce the risk of its contamination/pollution.

2. Identify a project/Activity (completed or ongoing) relevant to your chosen environmental medium (in 1.) and carry out a case study to appraise how achieving a safer environment is being/has been demonstrated

3. Students will be awarded marks for their originality, critical appraisal, the use of academic language and appropriate referencing.

Prepare a presentation of the outline and scope of your proposed report in (A) (to cover aspects of 1, 2 & 3). Presentation slides are to be submitted on Moodle (a dedicated Turnitin link will be provided).
