Assessment Brief

This is an individual assignment designed to provide opportunity for independent research into sustainable construction/sustainability. The courseowork submission is precended by an oral presentaion as indicated in module calender.

Requirement:

1. Choose one environmental medium and critically evaluate how environmental management tools can help to reduce the risk of its contamination/pollution.

Key points (not necessarily headings) to cover:

Clear indication of medium

Risks of contamination with associated medium

Appraisal of environmental management tools

The applicability of relevant tools in reducing associated risks

Relevance of deductions (from the evaluation) to the environment

Relate ideas to aspects of sustainable development, H&S etc.
