Health and social care organisations today face unprecedented challenges. These challenges are obliging organisations to redesign their internal structures and policies. New people management strategies are at the centre of these organisational changes. This course examines the character of these people management strategies in modern organisations.


Scenario or vocational context

You have just been appointed as a Human Resource Management consultant in a corporate organization listed in the FTSE 200 which is well known and has a significant number of employees. 1.1. Identify the economic pressure on health services and the effects of that pressure on management.

During the interview process leading to your subsequent appointment, you were briefed that the organization is facing some challenges in implementing quality changes.

You have been mandated to research into the organization and provide viable solutions in terms of the smooth managing quality through human resource management.

You need to write clear, concise, and accurate notes on all the following tasks (task 1, 2, 3 & 4) and all assessment criteria which will be the basis of your report to the Board of Directors.
