Scenario and Activity: As a follow on to your presentation, your manager has asked you to prepare an information booklet as a supplement. The idea is that you will hand this out to staff after they have attended the presentation as a piece of follow-on information. The booklet is particularly focussed on structure and purpose. Your document should contain:
• Structure diagrams for the key roles that are found within the housekeeping department
• An assessment of the importance of forecasting linen stocks, including an example inventory; other guest supplies, should also be discussed
• Illustrate the interrelationships between housekeeping and other departments, in respect of a quality provision for guests
• Examine the importance of scheduled maintenance and repair work to minimise the disruption to guests
• Discuss the importance of security within a specific hospitality organisation
