Selecting an organisations of your own choice explain the purpose and functions of HRM linked to workforce planning and resourcing. You should consider defining HRM, go into detail regarding their main functions, hard and soft models of HRM and then how these link to workforce planning, PESTLE and the labour market. This should be followed by reviewing the pros and cons of different approaches such as internal and external methods of recruitment.

You then need to go into detail regarding different practices of HRM for both the employer and employee regarding learning, development and training, differentiating development and training.

Finally you should state the pros and cons of the effectiveness of different HRM practices in terms of raising the companies’ profits and productivity, which may include Job and workplace design
