MAY825 - Dynamics/MEL
In this subject the student will be introduced to the principles involved in Maya embedded language and Maya dynamic engine. A setup and scripting techniques for creating rigid bodies, Soft bodies,
particles and scripts will be explored. Students will create a series of setups culminating with the creation of variety of five different dynamic simulation related to their final production.
Upon successful completion of this subject the student will be able to:
- Utilize Maya dynamics for animation
- Create accessories for characters, character interaction, or scene animation/automation
- Work with rigid bodies, particles for object animation, cloth, expressions for control, MEL for setup
- Write MEL for interfaces/GUI building
