This assignment is intended to assess the following learning outcomes: The portfolio will assess all four of the learning objectives for this module:
1. Problem-Solving and Adaptability (CS, EE)
Demonstrate knowledge and an ability to apply and evaluate problem-solving strategies to case studies and real-world workplace simulations in experiential learning spaces, demonstrating resilience and initiative to changing professional environments.
2. Professional Communication and Networking (DP, CP)
Draft a tailored CV and cover letter for a specific job role and practice networking during in- class simulations and via mock interactions on online platforms.
3. Career Planning and Development (CP, SQ, EQ, EE)
Develop a career action plan informed by industry research & trends, personalised skills assessment and goal setting using career zone resources.
4. Workplace Ethics & Professionalism (CS, SQ, EQ, ECC)
Describe the principles underpinning ethics and professionalism in the workplace and exhibit professional behaviours relating to social justice and sustainability during decision-making.

Assessment Task A: Completion of Career Development Pathway on Career Zone and Self- Assessment Grid with Academic Advisor

Description: This assessment is designed to support your reflection on personal and professional development through two activities:
1. Career Development Pathway (CDP)
- A self-directed, digital careers course accessed via the Career Zone.
- Provides resources and activities to build your career awareness, planning, and readiness.
- You must complete the course in full and paste a screenshot of your completion screen into the first page of the Assessment Task A Template.
2. Self-Awareness Grid
- A reflective tool to help you consider your wellbeing, confidence, and how you are settling into university life.
- The grid is located on pages 2 and 3 of the Assessment Task A Template.
- You will complete the grid at two points in the semester:
- Early in the module (Week 2, 3, or 4).
- Towards the end of the module (Week 9, 10, or 11).
By comparing your “Start” and “End” responses, you will identify progress made, highlight strengths, and outline actions for further improvement.

Description: You will produce a reflective account of how engaging with a range of activities during your year of study has enabled you to demonstrate the expected level of MWPF skills at your level.
Your reflection should include:
- Specific learning activities that helped you acquire and demonstrate MWPF learning outcomes.
- What you learned from giving and receiving feedback from peers, teamwork, and how you applied this learning.
- What went well, and what challenges did you encounter?
- Your current level of skills, and how you would articulate these to a future public health employer.
- Lessons learned and steps you will take moving forward.
