In this paper, you are supposed to critically evaluate the relationship between child development theories along with shedding light on the following aspects:

• the phenomena of child development

• the concepts of health visitor

• critical analysis of the theories

• practical examples of the theme

• suggestions and outcomes

Instructions 

Critically review the relationship between child development theories. 

Definition of what is child development.
Why does a health visitor need to know about this. 
Theories such as Vygotsky, Erikson, Pavlov, Bandura, Skinner, Bronfenbrenner ecological system etc. Critically analyse each in turn. Acknowledge that some views are outdated and that there are modern theorists who have something else to say. Either support or against it. 

Relate it to practice in a 2 year old developmental assessment. Examples of what a 2 year old might do and how it relates to a theory. e.g. behavioural theorist says this... and can be observe by this.. 

Use theories to inform health visiting practice. Based on the theory, the health visitor can advise mothers to do xyz.

References ideally within the last 5 years however original theorists can have older references.
