Assignment Scenario

You are the Human Resource Manager for a medium size organisation with several branches across the UK. Because of the nature of the business and the clients the company needs to deal with your job is to maintain a very balanced work force. Very recently you are given a project to conduct a research into equality and diversity within the workplace based on the Equality Act 2010; you could also suggest to them some areas of possible research; - Gender pay gap - Recruitment policy on Socio-cultural background - Gender and promotion, etc.

Task You are to;

a) Establish your aims and objectives for the project. Outline objectives and timeframes based on the scenario set.

b) Produce an appropriate project management plan that includes relevant actions to meet objectives and timeframes.

c) Conduct research to generate knowledge which will form the basis for analysis of the scenario posed in the brief.

d) Analyse your findings and draw conclusions to form the basis for recommendations.

e) Present and produce your project in an appropriate manner for the intended audience.

f) Communicate your recommendations in an appropriate manner for the intended audience.

g) Complete a performance review that addresses the following:

a. The success of the project and its usefulness in supporting organisational performance.

b. Your own performance.
