Part I of your HR plan will be comprised of your introduction, business description, HR management philosophy (which must ensure justice), organizational structure (describe the duties of at least 5 different positions in the HR department, categorize by the 3 types of work) and the rationale for each aspect. This section should contain 3-5 pages of material. It should be supported by cited work from course texts, three or more biblical references, as well as at least one peer reviewed journal article. Part II of your HR plan will be comprised of your policies and rationale regarding Regulatory Compliance, as well as Recruitment and Selection. This section should contain 3-5 pages of material. It should be supported by cited work from both course texts as well as at least three peer reviewed journal articles, along with a biblical world view using scripture.

 

Policies and procedures regarding EEO, harassment, and discrimination.

Three or more job descriptions (cite if not your own).

Sources of candidates, methods of recruiting.

General outline of the application process including a list of any documents required from the applicant and how the information will be used.

Selection process of testing and interviewing including what you hope to learn about the candidate through the process.

Additional selection techniques you may choose to include (background/reference checks, physical exam, drug test, credit check, etc.).

An explanation of how you will implement Leman and Pentak’s (2004) SHAPE (Strengths, Heart, Attitude, Personality, Experience).

This section should contain 3-5 pages of material. It should be supported by cited work from both course texts as well as at least one peer reviewed journal article and a biblical world view supported by scripture.
