Julian Greer
About Julian Greer
Julian Greer is used when a DBA draft has already gone wrong once. The student may have a chapter full of tutor notes, a failed discussion section, or a draft where the marker has written things like “too descriptive”, “not enough analysis”, or “does not answer the question”.
He does not start by adding more references. He first reads the comments and checks where the chapter has lost its point. Sometimes the problem is the argument. Sometimes the findings are written like a list. Sometimes the conclusion says very little after a long chapter.
Julian’s work is to rewrite the weak part so it reads as if it belongs in the same thesis. He is usually given resit chapters, discussion chapters, final corrections and drafts where the student knows something is wrong but cannot see how to fix it.
