Rhiannon Pritchard
About Rhiannon Pritchard
Rhiannon completed her Master’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Leicester (UK), where she developed a strong grounding in criminological theory, criminal justice policy, and research methods. After graduating, she moved into academic writing and has spent the last 4 years specialising in criminology dissertations, with most of her work centred on full dissertation support and major research projects.
Her strength is helping students turn a broad topic into a clear, researchable question and a solid plan. Rhiannon can support all core dissertation sections, including the proposal, literature review, methodology, findings, discussion, and conclusion. She is particularly confident with UK-style academic expectations, such as clear signposting, critical evaluation of sources, and consistent referencing (Harvard or the style required by the department).
Rhiannon’s subject focus covers areas such as youth offending, policing and police culture, prisons and rehabilitation, sentencing, domestic abuse, cybercrime, hate crime, and desistance. She also supports both qualitative and quantitative approaches, including interview and thematic analysis (NVivo-style coding) and survey design and basic statistical reporting (SPSS-style outputs). She works carefully around research ethics, consent, confidentiality, and GDPR-aware handling of data, which is essential in criminology research.
