Individual Written assignment (100%)

Each student will complete the following assignment (3000 words maximum, +/- 10%):

A small or a medium UK manufacturing company is considering expanding into mainland Europe (one EU country) 

Critically evaluate what particular aspects of the business environment it must take into account when assessing the decision to internationalise or not? 

You must use example(s) to illustrate your answer

A ‘suggested’ answer outline will be posted on Blackboard in due course.

The Ulster University Harvard referencing style[1] must be applied to your assignment (see https://guides.library.ulster.ac.uk/businessguide for guide) and it will be assessed using the Level 7 qualitative assessment criteria (see Appendix 1).

The Report will via Blackboard Turnitin.

PLEASE NOTE:  If you submit a basic PESTLE analysis then you will fail automatically.

FEEDBACK

Feedback will be provided during the seminars on week 9, week 10, and week 11. You should email your work to the seminar tutor one day before the seminar and be able to discuss the assignment during the seminar.
