Learning Outcomes

The following learning outcomes will be tested in this assessment:

K1. An understanding of essential information search, report-writing and presentation processes for Higher Education study.

K2. An understanding of various types of quantitative and qualitative data, its representation and its use in the analysis and presentation of Higher Education Institutes (HEI) and business assignments and projects.

K3. An appreciation of opportunities available for developing work and further study experience while at university, and the importance of developing a CV.

S1. An ability to work effectively in problem-solving (under the guidance of their tutor) a series of group and individual study and employment skills related tasks which apply the knowledge shown in the knowledge outcomes of the module.

S2. An ability to use basic techniques of reflecting upon their own academic, personal and future career progress/ learning so as to establish a basis for their own professional development. S3. Application of personal / professional development planning to specify stated areas for improvement.
