Select workstations for your Human Factors assessment. Assess the workstations through personal observation and assessment using appropriate tools and methodologies. You should consider the physical, organisational, and psychosocial aspects of the workplace and identify the limitations and problems experienced by the operator (and any good features!). Decide whether modifications are needed to improve the workstations and suggest changes that you think would be feasible.

 You should use the units of the module as your primary information source when completing this coursework, but you should also read around the topic in the published literature (for example in the journals Ergonomics and Applied Ergonomics) or other resources you may have access to. All published sources, which you use, should be cited in the report, with full references given in a list at the end of the report. Your citing style should be Harvard.

• Clear description of workstations and context

• Identification of factors to consider

• Proposed use of appropriate methods

• Discussion critical analysis of findings with reference to literature

• Accurate referencing of source material

• Evidence of reading beyond the course conten.

Critical Appraisal and Analysis. (50%

The arguments to support or refute each point are clear, very well informed and balanced. Further there is evidence of the student’s novel development of ideas

 

The purpose of this study is to analysis and evaluate the physical environment when using my kitchen and provide a recommendation regarding health risks.

I will observe myself while performing activities in my kitchen, take some pictures of my postures so, the question will be about environmental issues which are ventilation, lighting, and noise that affect the user. I will provide some forms like RULA method to examine the level of health risk, usability there are 2 choose one of them and HTA.
