You will create a report which includes method statements that detail the equipment, materials and procedures for complex foundations, underground drainage, culvert construction and the provision of utilities. P1, P2 and P3

Further your report by analysing and evaluating the procedures used for deep excavations and the techniques used to when there are issues of ground or slope stability. M1 D1

Develop and present a safety plan for the drainage works connecting the new college building on Clayton Lane South to the manhole on Clayton Lane South. Create a risk assessment for the works involved, including consideration of excavations, working in confined spaces, installing the drainage and working in temporary works on the highway. P4 and P5

Further your report with a discussion (M2) on the purpose and application of health and safety legislation and codes of practice relevant to Civil Engineering works. You can then justify(D2) the contents of your health and safety plan and risk assessment.
