Assessment Task: Students are required to design a research project into student health and wellbeing which we will agree and carry out together as a class. The project will be approved by the tutor upon submission of a 2500 word research proposal. Students should structure their proposal using the format discussed in class. The proposal should outline your plans for the project and should include a literature review, aims and objectives, a methodology and a section detailing ethical considerations. It is vital that you include supporting documents to demonstrate ethical awareness and decision making. Supporting documents should include proposed questionnaires/interview questions, a participant information sheet, example consent form, competed risk assessment form, GANTT chart, etc. More details will be discussed in class. The proposal should be written in the 3rd person, future tense. The format and structure of the proposal will be covered in class and will be available in the lecture slides on Blackboard. |
