Practices such as acupuncture and herbal medicine have deep cultural roots, particularly in regions like China and India, where traditional systems such as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Ayurveda have existed for centuries. Some of these treatments, like acupuncture, have been scientifically investigated and shown to provide certain benefits, especially in pain management.
