MODULE AIM
This module will provide students with an opportunity to cover the broad issues within social policy, various philosophies and the underlying ideologies and recent relevant social consequences. The module will also consider the study of education as a process which plays a key role in shaping children and youth education from the past to current day education and play.
The module will enable students to enhance and develop their knowledge and skills relating to Childhood and Youth Studies that will allow for debates and discussions through questions that will be raised in early pedagogical approaches that allow for play in childhood through to 19 years being discovered. This will allow for previous knowledge and research skills to discover how childhood play and social policy impact education for today’s children.
