When I began the degree, I mainly focused on completing tasks rather than understanding the wider purpose of academic work. Over time, I learned how to read academic sources more critically and how to analyse theories rather than describe them. I also developed stronger writing and referencing skills. These changes came through feedback, practice, and learning how to structure arguments clearly. Personally, the degree helped me become more organised and more aware of how to balance deadlines with part time work and family responsibilities.
