Develop a project idea to address a social problem or issue that you have identified and prepare a 10-minute oral presentation, which should include:

• The focal problem to be addressed

• The causes and effects of the focal problem

• Your proposed solution to tackle the problem

• Potential income sources This presentation must be submitted to Tii by Wednesday 18 March and given by you on Thursday 19 March at a time to be confirmed. This presentation is assessed against the following criteria:

• Your understanding of the various contexts in which NGOs and social enterprises work, including complex ethical and political issues

• Your understanding of funders’ expectations

• Your ability to work independently and to a deadline

• Your presentation skills
