You will assume the role of a business consultant recruited to conduct a strategic analysis and critically evaluate the strategic choices available to a company of your choice from the FTSE 100

A strategic analysis is: 

‘The process of developing strategy for a business by researching the business and the environment in which it operates.

‘… a theoretically informed understanding of the environment in which an organisation is operating, together with an understanding of the organisation’s interaction with its environment in order to improve organisational efficiency and effectiveness by increasing the organisation’s capacity to deploy and redeploy its resources intelligently’ (Professor Les Worrall, Wolverhampton Business School).

1. In your presentation, you will recommend and justify how your chosen organisation might go about its strategic implementation.
2. The presentation will set out the business analysis you have carried out using strategic analysis, including your findings and recommendations. You will conduct the business environment analysis using your choice of the tools and models introduced in this unit.
3. The presentation should be 15 minutes long and include a slide set of approximately 8–10 slides (10 should be the maximum). You should include speaker notes (750−1,000 words) as a guide.

Your submission should include:

• A 15-minute video of your presentation
• 8–10 slides 
• 750–1,000 words of accompanying speaker notes. 

Any images or quotes used from third-party sources should be referenced on your slides or notes appropriately. Please refer to the university

Penalties for Overlong Assessments

All final assessments for Global Online units are subject to the following mark reduction penalties:

Amount the submitted work is in excess of the provided guidance	Effect on final mark

= 31%	Mark capped at 50%

The maximum assessment length does not include the bibliography, reference lists, title page or any appendices (  pls add 10 references)
