A strategic analysis is:
‘The process of developing strategy for a business by researching the business and the environment in which it operates.
‘… a theoretically informed understanding of the environment in which an organisation is operating, together with an understanding of the organisation’s interaction with its environment in order to improve organisational efficiency and effectiveness by increasing the organisation’s capacity to deploy and redeploy its resources intelligently’ (Professor Les Worrall, Wolverhampton Business School).
- In your presentation, you will recommend and justify how your chosen organisation might go about its strategic implementation.
- The presentation will set out the business analysis you have carried out using strategic analysis, including your findings and recommendations. You will conduct the business environment analysis using your choice of the tools and models introduced in this unit.
- The presentation should be 15 minutes long and include a slide set of approximately 8–10 slides (10 should be the maximum). You should include speaker notes (750−1,000 words) as a guide.

- A 15-minute video of your presentation
