Agnes is 38 years old and is expecting her second child in two months. Because of her age an amniocentesis was recommended. The results of this show that there is a high chance the baby has Down’s Syndrome. Agnes and her partner Susan have decided to continue with the pregnancy regardless of the diagnosis.
