OUTLINE:
As part of the English for Academic Purposes, Research and Study Skills course you are required to write an essay on the Topic of Climate Change ; you are also expected to evidence the stages of your essay research, planning, and writing progress in the Essay Research Workbook .
AIMS:
To assess your ability to plan, outline, and structure your essay in order to develop a clear argument
To show that you have conducted secondary research (finding academic sources, evaluating their relevance and reliability by conducting the CRAAP Test and recording organised notes
To clearly cite and reference the source material you use to develop and support your ideas
As part of the assignment, you are required to submit the workbook by 11.59pm on 4 January 2022 onto Canvas . Your workbook will be reviewed by your lecturer and you will receive feedback towards your final Research Essay.
It is then your responsibility to work on your Research Essay and address any suggestions and comments given before handing in the final version – by 11.59pm on TBC 2021.
RESEARCH WORKBOOK FORMAT:
Your workbook must be word processed, in Ariel font 12pt minimum with double line spacing. This format is important as it makes it much easier for us to read. Word count: There is no minimum or maximum word count for the Workbook.
